There are three basic reasons why slot screen plain are so widely used in mineral processing vibrators :

They're extremely dependable. Effective sizing or classifying requires uniform slots in the screen. Our screen panels are manufactured with a slot tolerance of  0.02 mm in increments of 0.02 mm to assure dependable process results.

They're very strong:The screen panels in flat deck applications are made with rectangular support bars which enables the panel to span longer distances without intermediate support bars.
